Broken Beach in Nusa Penida Island
Broken Beach locally name Pasih Uug, located in the village of Bunga Mekar, Nusa Penida Island, Bali. Broken Beach is a big natural pool, with about a hundred meters in diameter, created by sea abrasion and collapsed limestone hill in million years ago. This hole has 98 meter in diameter and offering unique and scenic view. The white sand, blue sea water, deep cliff limestone, horizon view and the green hills are the panorama of Broken Beach. Where there are reach of cliffs 50-200 meters high. Cliff circular shape and the middle forming holes like caves or tunnels sea. Discovering Broken Beach
A trip to Broken Beach is an overland adventure through Nusa Penida’s rugged limestone terrain. Most of the pathways are rocky and unpaved. The majority of people rent a motorbike to reach Broken Beach. It will take around two hours to reach this corner from the main harbour area in Nusa Penida’s north-western tip.

How to reach Broken Beach ?
Broken Beach located in the village of Sakti, Nusa Penida Island. From Bali mainland you have to cross the ocean about 45 minutes to Nusa Penida island by fast cruise. To reach there it take 40 minutes drive from Dermaga Banjar Nyuh port. The cost of the fast boats from Sanur (around 150.000 – 175.000 IDR)
