Detailed Itinerary

Head out before dawn at 3.00 AM to the northern coast of Bali to catch a traditional outrigger boat making its way out into the Lovina Beach.

As you watch the beautiful sunrise from the horizon, see the friendly dolphins approach your boat as they race along the waters! and then you can take as many pictures as you like.

After a special moment with the friendly creatures, savor a continental breakfast before visiting the Brahmavihara-Arama is Bali’s largest Buddhist monastery.

Comprises a hectare of hillside, with numerous meditation rooms, libraries, beautiful gardens, and an impressive mini replica of the world's largest Buddhist archaeological site, Borobudur on its highest grounds.

Built over a series of terraces, the entry is through a Balinese-style courtyard with a round lotus-filled central pond surrounded by stone guardian figures.

Two sets of stairways, each step marked with aspects of the Buddhist eightfold path lead to a meditation room featuring a seated Thai-style Buddha statue.

And further up to a another level comprising a Nepalese-style golden bell-shaped pagoda and a three-tiered Chinese-style pagoda (that was under construction at the time of our visit), also housing another golden Buddha.

From there, continue to Banjar Hot Water Spring, it’s a nature hot wellspring from the ground, has an agreeable warm temperature of 37 degrees Celsius, and it is believed can heal the diseases.

The hot spring water gushes from the mouths of eight stone carved naga (mythical, dragon-like creatures) into the oblong shaped upper pool.

With lush, jungle-clad slopes surrounding the sacred hot springs of Banjar, also known as ‘Air Panas’, makes this hot spring be one of the island’s most popular.

Then drive up to Munduk and Melanting waterfalls are among Bali’s most scenic, located within Bali’s lush and forested central-northern highland region.

The falls are a highlight feature of the namesake village of Munduk in Buleleng, North Bali, reachable after a 300m walk from the main road on which trekkers can enjoy soothing nature sights and sounds along a forest route.

Water flows down from a small crack surrounded by thick shrubs. Since the waterfall is not quite high, try to stand under the waterfall.

It is refreshing as the strong shower hits the head. Stay in water for some time so the sulfur can work its wonder for the skin’s health.

Continue trip to Gobleg Hill known as Wanagiri Hidden Hills, a popular photo hotspot among tourists and photographers.

Wanagiri Hidden Hill is punctuated by a series of whimsical vantage points over Lake Tambingan and Lake Buyan.

There’s a human-sized bird’s nest, an Indonesian interpretation of the Eiffel Tower and a giant swing overlooking the water below. So you’ll be sure to get plenty of good photos for Instagram.

At the end of the day head to the iconic temple of Pura Ulun Danu Bratan which sitting on a small island on the lake., just as you always see in the postcards and on Instagram!.

Ulun Danu Bratan Temple  was built in adoration of the Goddess Danu. Danu, in the Balinese tongue, means lake, while the goddess Danu is queen of water, lakes and rivers.

The temple complex consists of four sacred buildings. Linga Pura stands three levels high, and is a place of worship to the god Shiva.

The style of the building follows the Trimurti belief; three holy colors to represent the three gods: Shiva, Brahma and Vishnu.

The area surrounding the temple is believed to have been a site of worship and center for religious rituals since the megalithic period.

To the left of the temple lies a sarcophagus as well as a stone slate that are dated to around 500 BC. The existence of the temple itself is has been recorded as early as 1556.
