About Blangsinga Waterfall
This waterfall is known by two names depending on which village you come through.
However if you come through Tegenungan village so the waterfall will be called Tegenungan Waterfall.
But if you come through Jalan Raya Blangsinga at Blahbatuh, Gianyar the waterfall is called Blangsinga Waterfall.
Blangsinga Waterfall has three strategic and unique locations. The first part is located at the edge of the river with ‘stone water’ namely the spring coming out from chunks of boulder.
The second part or in the middle, the atmosphere becomes more challenging. Visitors can sit on chunks of the local cliff while enjoying the waterfall flowing to the bottom of the river.
Most of travelers choose this location to take pictures as being very close to waterfall and cliff.
Beautiful scenery is also taken advantage by photographer as a pre-wedding photo session.
The third part is the most strategic location lies in the bottom of the river, namely the main waterfall.

Blangsinga Waterfall located in Jalan Raya Blangsianga, Banjar Blangsinga, Saba village, Blahbatuh, Gianyar, Bali, Indonesia.
Approx. 5 kilometers, south east Ubud. In addition, it is 34 km from Kuta or for about 1 hour to 2 hours from Seminyak which depending of the road traffic condition.
How to Get to Blangsinga Waterfall
Blangsinga Waterfall is easily accessible from any areas of Bali, however if you’re staying in Ubud it’s very easy to get here early, and it’s just a 15-25 minutes ride from central Ubud.
Perhaps 60 to 120 minutes from Kuta/Legian or Seminyak which depending the traffic condition.

Blangsinga Waterfall Entrance Fee
Visit to Blangsinga Waterfall there’s an entry fee of 10,000 IDR per person. There is an additional cost of 5,000 IDR per car if you bring your own car.
The ticket can be bought at the ticket counter which located in parking area. When you pay you will receive a ‘Ticket’ as a receipt!
And the payment should be cash in Indonesian Rupiah (IDR), so please prepare small cash before you come here.

During the sun half-rises at 09.00 am and a half-set at 03.00 pm in the best time to visit the Blangsinga Waterfall.

Nyepi is a Balinese "Day of Silence" that is commemorated every Isakawarsa (Saka new year) according to the Balinese calendar. It is a Hindu celebration mainly celebrated in Bali, Indonesia.
Nyepi, a public holiday in Indonesia, is a day of silence, fasting and meditation for the Balinese. The day following Nyepi is also celebrated as New Year's Day.
Observed from 6 a.m. until 6 a.m. the next morning, Nyepi is a day reserved for self-reflection, and as such, anything that might interfere with that purpose is restricted.
The main restrictions are no lighting fires (and lights must be kept low); no working; no entertainment or pleasure; no traveling; and, for some, no talking or eating at all.

Taking a bath here is a great choice for the visitors after swimming in front of the waterfall. Not only the visitors, the locals around the waterfall also uses the bathing area for daily basis.
- Swimming - Although the water discharge runs quite fast, many visitors still come to swim in the pond. The depth of the pond is not that deep, thus swimming in the area must be fun and safe at the same time.
